Bitcoin transactions on exchanges have decreased as BTC price continues to fall

Bitcoin has had a big fall this week. People are selling it. It is now 44% less than it was before. That has made people not want to buy it as much anymore on the exchange.

One company that watches the Bitcoin market said that the number of Bitcoins coming in and out of exchanges has been going down. This is happening when the price of Bitcoin has been going down, too.

Exchange inflows declining

The number of people sending money to exchange wallets has dropped. This is the lowest that it has been in 2021. People used to send money to these exchanges all the time, but now they only do it sometimes. They usually send more money on days when Bitcoin hits a new high than on days when Bitcoin does not hit a new high.

Exchange outflows also declining

The number of people who made outflow transactions from exchanges has gone down. We looked at over 30,000 on May 22 and it was down from the high on May 10, which had more than 160,000 addresses make outflow transactions.

On May 21, there were 20,500 people who took money out of their bank accounts. It is the lowest number for this year.
